Crabbing Day Sunday 15 March With fishing a little quieter lately, we’re excited to shift focus to what’s shaping up to be a great crabbing season and invite you to our much-loved Crab Catch & Cook Day. Join us for a fun day on the water, then back to shore to cook and share the catch. Chili crabs are back by popular demand, along with chef-prepared salads, bread and serviettes. Sausages and steaks will also be available for those not eating the catch. Pre-registration is required with the CYCSA Office by 5:00pm Wednesday prior. Please provide the skipper’s name, boat name, contact number and number attending. Wristbands will be issued on the day, tables are booked under boat names, and all boats are expected to participate in crabbing. Final weigh-in is at 12:30pm, followed by prizes for biggest crab, most crabs and more. This is a plastic-free event, so please BYO crab crackers, cutlery, plates and drinks. All seating is covered in the Members BBQ area with numbers capped — bookings essential. No charge for Fishing Association members who participate in crabbing or children 13 and under. $30pp applies to non-FA members and FA members not participating. This event is for Club Members and their invited guests only.
